A 1/2", 4-hole phenolic spacer was used for two reasons. First, additional clearance between the secondary fuel bowl and intake manifold was required (thanks, Edelbrock). Second, a slight improvement in throttle response was sought after.

A 750 CFM, vacuum secondary Mighty Demon with annular discharge boosters (5402020V) has replaced the Holley 3310.
